Today's retirement day for Linden..

Trevor waited until today which marked the 20 year anniversary of his draft pick date to announce his retirement from NHL hockey. Man, everyone's sad but hell, wouldn't everyone want to be able to retire at 38?

Oh and John Shorthouse is the new play by play man replacing Jim Hughson on Sportsnet Pacific. SIGH. I've nothing against Shorty but I'm used to Jim. His play by play with John Garrett's colour was so comforting and expected that listening to anyone else was grating on the ears.

Damn, combine all this with the loss of the hockey night in canada theme, not to mention Luc Bourdon (not even going there =|), I'm not liking these past few years of Canucks hockey.

Poor Fleury. What a horrible replay of that butt bump into his own net. Well, Detroit takes it once again with Lidstrom as Captain this time. We'll get there someday... In the meantime, Mike Gillis better make our team an exciting one again. I like exciting hockey! Oh wait, I forgot, we kept our defensive minded coach. D'oh.

Indy was fun, SYTYCD season 4 is back into swing and I'm interviewing for a job in Hawaii. Life is good. We'll see if it can get any better. ;-P
