Game 1: Duckies clobber Nuckies
Err.. 5-1 Ducks. Man, I missed Salo, Cooke and Kesler... and Jannik Hansen! Why wasn't he there tonight?! Boy, Anaheim sure is fast.. and big. We just kinda bounce off of them when we try and check 'em. *Boing!* It would be kinda funny if it weren't so frustrating.

I heard Beeska might be out indefinitely. Something about an infection? Don't know if that's true but I hope it's not. I think they should've called up Brandon Reid. He's fast and could get past all their annoying giant defensmen.

yeah i heard something about Bieksa out indefinitly too. I hope not either! and I heard Kesler and Cooke preobably wont be back for this series....but i hope i'm wrong! And hopefully we get past this series so they can return

i found this edmonton article - bieka's injury may be a torso injury; morrison is walking around with icebags..
and then a cbc article says "Salo left Game 7 against Dallas after being slew-footed and reportedly has the flu, while Bieksa has a mysterious fatigue-related illness."
my guess is that along with his foot, maybe it's mono and he can't play because of the fatigue and the possibility of rupturing an enlarged spleen...
