Philly whoomped us good

Well, after they golfed, ziplined and skated in lovely Whistler, the Philadelphia Flyers came back to Vancouver to kick our butts 8-2. It was an interesting game.

Luongo played in a knee brace for a period. It was only a period because after Philly scored 4 goals in 13 shots, it seemed like a good time for Curtis Sanford to play in his first game as a Canuck. Unfortunately, Sanford didn't get too much help from his team even after he let in that first shot. Kelser got a stick cracked on his face. - no status on him yet.

  • that was the most painful game to watch. I'm going to pretend it never happened (or that I paid $11 to watch it). They gave Boulerice a 25 game suspension. Why don't they just kick this guy out of the NHL? I think he has some sort of anger problem, since he's done this before. He'll probably do it again too.

  • hey guys, how are you?? welcome back to a new season!! good to see your blogs again too. yes, hopefully this is the lowest point of the season. i was debating paying for this ppv game and ended up not. 25 for boulerice! kesler was calling for 20 games so i think the 25 shocked everybody.
