It's Official: Mattias is injured

Mattias Ohlund is the latest Canuck defencemen to be sidelined by injury. He hurt his elbow during Wednesday's win against the Predators and could be out for a week.

"He'll be out for a little while," Canucks coach Alain Vigneault said. "He knocked his elbow and it opened up. So, they had to clean it up and it's still not closed. We don't want to risk infection so he'll be out anywhere from three to seven days."

It still hasn't closed?? from Wednesday night?? Must've been an awfully large 'open'ing. God. At least they're not saying 'upper body injury'.

Mattias.. take some extra days off too so that you can rest for the playoffs!
